The sidebar entry is missing

What you see

There is no Floor plan item in the Home Assistant sidebar.

Why it happens

The sidebar entry is optional and can be switched off in the integration options. The editor is for administrators only, other users do not see it.

What to do

  1. Open Settings, Devices & services, FNS Floorplan, Configure and turn the sidebar entry on.
  2. Check that you are logged in as an administrator.
  3. The editor is always available at /fns-floorplan, even without the sidebar entry.
